Party on Wayne! Party on Garth!

What, you may ask yourself could possibly be the end of what some would say is the most precious wedding ever, well of course a disney themed luncheon and a vintage/homemade reception! Let the celebration begin!

Hands

These are the hands of your best friend, you and strong and full of love for you,

that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow and forever.

These are the hands that will work alongside yours as together you build your future.

These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other.

These are the hands that will hold you when fear or grief wracks your mind.

These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes, tears of sorrow and tears of joy.

Theses are the hands that will tenderly hold your children

These are the hands that will help hold your family as one.

Theses are the hands that will give you strength when you need it.

And lastly these are the hands that even when wrinkled and aged will still be reaching for yours still giving the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.

Em's thoughts on the wedding ceremony:
I remember after I got dressed in my temple clothes I went to wait in the celestial room with Kev. I was so nice to just spend time with him and just relax and really take time to gather my thoughts before we went into the sealing room. While we were sitting there it was kind of funny we saw two Mormon "celebrities." We saw the guy who plays the blind man in the movie the Testaments and also the mother of the main girl in the Testaments. It must have been some type of reunion that day for the cast or something. We thought it was so ironic that of all days, they would be there.
We were lucky enough to be married by President Gordon Flitton, Kevin's former stake president. He was so fun and sweet and reminded me of the guy from Monopoly. He talked to us before we went in to be sealed to explain what would happen and to help calm our nerves.
When we entered the sealing room, the spirit hit you like a ton of bricks. All of our family and friends were there. I remember thinking it was kind of strange to see them all in their regular church clothes at the temple. The first person I remember seeing was my Uncle Dwight. He has a big mustache and was right in my line of sight so it was hard to miss him but his kind eyes and smile helped make me feel calm and at ease.
The ceremony was beautiful and I couldn't help but feel a little teary. I was so lucky to be in the temple with my very best friend. It was amazing to feel his hand squeeze mine as we knelt across the alter.
After we hugged and shared congratulations with our guests once the ceremony was over it was just our us, our parents and President Flitton. I commented on how beautiful the room was. Amy mentioned the mirrors and that they were positioned so it looked as if they went on for eternity. Pres. Flitton had forgotten that he had wanted to show us the mirrors and their symbolism the during before he started, and he said he felt so silly for forgetting such a wonderful thing. I didn't mind really, and it was wonderful to have that private moment with just our parents, our key examples of what me and Kevin want our marriage to be.

Kev's thoughts on wedding ceremony:
what a beautiful day it was. em describes it so well, i don't know what else i can really add to that. i remember most vividly the pure joy and exhilaration it was to be there with the people i care about most. and especially em. that day, in a very real way, was the happiest day of my existence. i never knew one person could contain so many super amazing feelings. i knew every moment of that day that it was exactly what the lord would want us to do. im very greatful for everyone that put so much time into making this experience such a happy one for us!
